This year’s edition of the Sustainable Palm Oil Dialogue (SPOD) will dedicate special attention to the innovators making sustainable palm oil the norm. Together with Wageningen University & Research and the Sustainable Palm Oil Choice, SPOD will host an Innovation Fair and a special session on innovations.

The Innovation Fair offers individuals, NGOs, academics and businesses the opportunity to present their ideas to an expert audience as well as network with academia and industry decision-makers for the chance to bring their idea to reality. 

In the summer period, SPOD received various submissions of a wide range of actors. From these 23 applications, 8 innovators were selected to showcase their ideas during the Innovation Fair next to the preselected innovations. The members of the Sustainable Palm Oil Choice (SPOC) Advisory Committee and Wageningen University Research  selected the best innovations based on five defined criteria.
