"Our stance on palm oil is not to boycott palm oil, as this would increase demand for other, less efficient, edible oils which require even more land to be converted to agriculture and have even greater environmental impacts". Chester Zoo and EFECA jointly organise an event about the importance of sustainable palm oil on 13th June 2018. EPOA will join and present its goals, challenges and activities and also has a stand at the event to showcase our communication material.
